On this day, last year I found out that Beyoncé played my Jersey Club remix of "America Has A Problem" during the Renaissance World Tour.

I damn near died and came back to life when I found out. But i'll tell you exactly how I made it happen and the secret is within this week's quote.

I begin by simply putting my ideas inside of a note on my iphone.

There’s something powerful about moving from just thinking about your dreams to actively bringing them to life. When you write down your goals and envision the life you want, you’re manifesting it into reality. Planning the steps toward your dreams isn’t just about hoping for success—it's about paving the way for it.

I didn’t know if Beyoncé would actually play my song during her tour, but I moved like it was going to happen. Sometimes, you need to be a little delusion to fuel your ambition. I literally told anyone who would listen that Beyonce would play my song during her tour. And here is a video of it actually happening. Be persistent, show up for yourself, and most importantly do the work!

This dream came true because of all of the above. I need y'all to know that I am a human being just like you. I was just minding my business, trying my best to create a remix after I wrote down that dance contest idea. Once I uploaded the remix, thousands of dancers joined in only after seeing this routine to the remix. And then months later it was being played by Beyoncé and her choreography team had to learn a whole new 8 count!! Let's go y'all. I am living proof that miracles do happen to ordinary people and if it can happen to me then it damn sure can happen to you. Keep that in mind this week! It's something powerful in writing things down. There's something powerful in moving as if whatever you asked for has already come to fruition. Let's make this a bomb ass week on purpose yall.
